Accident & Incident Reporting Services (AIRS)
Our unique Incident & Injury management model takes a holistic approach from the time a workplace incident occurs.
WSIB seek to change the way people think about injury management and give your employees a positive experience, and you, the peace of mind that your greatest assets are being protected.
Early and immediate response is the key to reducing workers compensation and injury related costs. Our Accident & Incident Reporting Service (AIRS) provides 24 hour access to report a work related incident and allows us to immediately guide your employees and dedicated staff through treatment options. We will also speak with treating doctors and develop return to work plans where appropriate, whilst keeping you informed of developments as they occur.
Why AIRS & how does it work?
WSIB recognise that many businesses do not have the resources, expertise and capability to manage workplace incidents – WE DO
1 | From the time the incident is reported to WSIB, one of our RTW Coordinators will provide immediate advice, guidance and support to injured workers. |
2 | Where necessary WSIB will discuss treatment options with the treating doctor and develop a RTW plan if appropriate. |
3 | WSIB will TRIAGE whether or not the incident is a notifiable claim and attend to all internal and external reporting requirements to ensure that your legal obligations have been met |
4 | If the incident is minor, WSIB will monitor until closure |
5 | Should the claim require more complex strategy management, it will be referred to your WSIB Account Executive who will contact you within 24 hours of the incident occurring and discuss recommendations to minimise possible premium impact. |
