- receive notification of incidents and claims from you
- advise you on what documentation will be required to support your claim
- submit claims directly to the insurer in a detailed and professional manner
- inform you of the appointment of loss adjusters, solicitors and other consultants by your insurer
- recommend and facilitate the appointment of other professional advisors if necessary
- actively work with your insurer or their representative to resolve and negotiate claims effectively and promptly
- arrange for progressive payments for large claims
- ensure timely receipt of settlement cheques from your insurer
- periodically review outstanding estimates and keep you informed on the current position of outstanding claims
We believe that the handling of claims requires different skills from that utilised in for example, premium negotiations and it is for this reason that Warren Saunders Insurance Brokers maintains a separate Claims Division whose sole function is to facilitate the smooth passage of your claim.
